Aberlour reveals Casg Annamh, the new Single Malt from the Speyside distillery. It is a whisky matured in Sherry barrels and it is a No Age Statement , a category that brings together more and more new releases.
Bottled at 48% ABV, it will be sold for around € 65.
Casg Annamh means “rare barrel” in Gaelic. It is a tribute to Sherry whisky, says master distiller Graeme Cruickshank.
The bottle does not present anything new, compared to Aberlour standards. Low, stocky and with a wax-like closure on the large wooden stopper.
